Great productive classes this morning at The Cave, we mostly worked on technique more than heavy lifting, I saw a lot of improvement from all, The Snatch is the hardest lift to learn, but also the best for power and quickness, it ca be stressful and depressing to learn it, you fell like you just don’t get it, you think too much, the point is to just keep working at it, you won’t learn it over night, but you’ll make improvements, small one at the time, toward proficiency. By the way I had Heidi, Anni and Dave J. and Sue at 9, and Kannon, Joey, Adam and Dave D. at 10. Good Times
Yah for the Snatch! I got up to 65#… Super Happy bout that cuz I was only doing the small bar last time!!!
Coolio class today.
Today was a good workout. We had a good class and a really good coach. Thanks Luca the snatch is a hard thing to learn but listening to you is making it easier and easier each time. I remember when I couldn’t even do the bar right but now I’m doing alot better. He cave is a wonderful place to work out, it makes you want to keep on going.

This was a busy day of snatches. Thanks to Luca to get everyone up to speed on the snatches. Thanks to Dan for helping out again at the 7:30 class. Kannon thanks for coming back at the 5pm class to help.
We have a great group of athletes here at the Cave. We are learning, growing and getting stronger everyday. Do not forget clocks spring forward Sunday morning and our special St. paddy’s day wod.
Luca you’re a great teacher. You have a good way of explaining the movements so that I understand. It finally clicked when you told me to throw it instead of muscling it up. You might have to repeat yourself to me but it eventually sinks in. I hope to do even better next time we do snatches.
